Boys and Girls, Ages 4-14

MLS GO is Major League Soccer’s recreational youth soccer program, dedicated to providing an inclusive and enhanced experience for all participants. Centered around fun and affordability, MLS GO aims to enable more children to engage in the sport of soccer.

Preschool: 18 months to 3 years

The perfect start to their soccer journey! This parent-and-me program is a high-energy, fun-first introduction to the game. Through imaginative play and age-appropriate activities, we focus on building motor skills, confidence, and coordination in a supportive environment. No pressure, just playing, learning, and having fun with the ball.

HOW IT WORKS

Fee Includes: 

  • MLS Uniform
  • 20 Minutes of Professional Instruction
  • Full League Season (6 yrs old +)
  • Ball Mastery and Introduction to League Play Season (4-5 yrs old)
  • Dedicated Coach – Your Team will have a consistent coach throughout each session

MLS GO is for boys and girls ages 4-14. MLS GO is Major League Soccer’s youth soccer experience, with the mission of creating an inclusive and elevated recreational experience for boys and girls of all levels.

 

BENEFITS

When participating in an MLS GO league, you will gain access to a safe and fun environment for your youth athlete. MLS GO has rules and guidelines that focus on teaching athletes the fundamentals of the sport, while encouraging safety and fun.

MLS GO GEAR

The only youth soccer league backed by Major League Soccer, MLS GO includes high quality MLS branded uniforms and equipment; while also providing MLS crafted and easy-to-use training guides and on-field resources.

ROSTERS

Upon registration, players will have the opportunity to list “teammate(s)”, which are not guaranteed to result in participants being assigned to the same team. Final team selection will be at the discretion of league.

COACHES

Professional, licensed coaches assigned to each team inspiring the development and passion for the game while refereeing matches to ensure everyone has fun.

Major League Soccer and MLS GO Long Island want to make sure as many kids as possible have the opportunity to play soccer/futsal. MLS GO, Major League Soccer’s recreational youth soccer program, is designed to be a fun and inclusive pathway for all kids to learn fundamental soccer skills and develop a lasting love for the game – no matter their financial circumstance. With that in mind, we’ve partnered with MLS and the RCX Foundation to give families the opportunity to apply for grants that would help cover registration fees.
